Where can I park?

Parking is available at Beloved Disciple church in Grove City in a parking lot in front of the church off of S. Center St. Ext. (Hwy 208) and next to the church behind the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Parking is available at St. Michael the Archangel church in Emlenton along Chestnut St or in two parking lots below the church off of 9th St. between Hill St. and Chestnut St.

What is the dress code?

Although the Catholic Church has no real dress code for proper attire when attending Mass, there is an unwritten dress code that demands we are properly dressed out of Respect, Honor, and Reverence for the Real Presence of Our Lord.

Where do my children go?

Children may sit with their family in the church nave or in an enclosed "cry room" at the back right hand side of the church nave at Beloved Disciple. There are restrooms available in the gathering space at the entrance to the church at Beloved Disciple, and in the basement of St. Michael's.

I'm not Catholic. How do I know when to sit, stand, and kneel?

As a congregant, a non-Catholic is allowed to do as much as do Catholics in the pews with the exception of receiving Communion. Those non-Catholics who are guests can participate to the extent they feel comfortable doing so, with the exception of receiving Communion. If they are merely there as observers and do not wish to participate, they need only stand when the congregation does and otherwise sit quietly.

I'm not Catholic. Is it okay for me to participate in communion?

We welcome our fellow Christians to this celebration of the Eucharist as our brothers and sisters. Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not fully united are ordinarily not admitted to holy communion.

We also welcome to this celebration those who do not share our faith in Jesus Christ. While we cannot admit them to Holy Communion, we ask them to offer their prayers for the peace and unity of the human family.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

Giving money at church is generally not required or mandatory, particularly for visitors, and is considered a voluntary act of support for the ministry.

I have a hearing problem, is there any special assistance?

Yes, in a basket at the left rear of the church nave at Beloved Disciple, there are devices to assist in hearing.
