    Dinners to Go

      Volunteers provide meals to families in need, such as after a hospital stay, during an emergency or after the birth of a baby.

    Funeral Meals

     Help offer a meal, refreshments and a time of fellowship for the family and friends of the deceased after the funeral mass.

    Joshua's Haven

      Once a month, prepared meals are donated to the men's shelter Joshua's Haven in Sharon, PA.

    Meals on Wheels

      Donations of baked goods go to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for the recipients of prepared meals.


Grove City College

      Transportation is provided to GCC students to and from Masses during the school year in the parish van. The Newman Club is a fellowship organization that seeks to meet the needs of Catholic students on campus and seeks to educate all interested students about the Catholic faith. The goals of the group are Christian fellowship. intellectual and spiritual edification, and community service. All students may participate in any of the activities, which are announced in the weekly newsletter.


Prayer Chain

      Weekly requests for personal prayer and intentions are forwarded through our chain of parishioners via e-mail or phone call.


Social Justice

      Encompassing many areas of the Respect for Life issues such as poverty, euthanasia, abortion, and environmental concerns. This group organizes the Respect Life Month events in October, arranges the bus trip to Washington, D.C., for the March for Life, provide contact information for elected officials’ offices, and help with needs that arise in the community. Committee will provide several ways to get involved and to act by meeting basic needs of local and global people who are poor (such as supporting food pantries, shelters, prisoners, and our Sister Parish in the Yucatan.


Altar Rosary Society (StM)

      The Altar Rosary Society’s mission is to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, promote devotion through the Rosary, and care for the altar, linens, and sanctuary needs. This service and prayer group fosters spiritual growth, community among women, and supports parish functions through fundraising and service. The Altar Rosary Society meets the third Wednesday of each month, sponsors the Fish Fries during Lent, provides funeral meals if requested by the family, leads the Rosary at funeral homes if requested, and sponsors chicken and biscuit dinners, soup dinners, the parish picnic, and the Faith Formation Christmas party.


Knights of Columbus

      The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal benefit society founded on principles of charity, unity and fraternity. Founded in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is now the world’s foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities.

      Council #3658 was chartered in Grove City in 1953 under the leadership of Natale Rossi. Over the years, the council has rendered important service to the Church through Beloved Disciple parish, to the community and to its members. Business meetings are held at 8 pm the first Wednesday of each month at the Knights of Columbus hall, adjacent to the church.

      Council #4602 of the Knights of Columbus in Emlenton meets the fourth Sunday after Mass and is initiating a HELPING HAND PROGRAM to parishioners and those with whom they are acquainted who may need cash to cover extraordinary expenses incurred while traveling to and from a hospital, rehabilitation center or other costs not covered by medical insurance. (Examples would be gasoline, tolls, dining out, babysitter expenses, etc.) For more information, please contact the Grand Knight.
